I just finished restoring the case of my 72 camaro's th400. It was glass beaded and then cleared with Eastwoods Diamond Clear. Also all the brackets, and covers were powdercoated with Eastwoods translucent gold over reflective chrome. I sent it back to the trans shop last week to have it rebuilt.
